Scuba VBS is going to be full of Bible adventures, games, music, snacks, and science experiments! But we are doing more than simply entertaining kids. We have a powerful purpose at the heart of every single activity: Helping kids dive deeper into a friendship with God.

All Scuba Divers follow one unwavering rule: Always dive with a buddy. That means we never jump into the water alone, and we discover everything alongside a friends. We look forward to this week during the summer to show your children and grandchildren a wonderful community surrounded by God's love and friendship with us.

Join us for Scuba VBS June 10th-14th from 9:30 am - 12 pm (Drop off between 9-9:30 am).

We welcome children ages 4 through 5th grade. We are asking for a $5 donation (cash on the first day) to help with some simple costs.

We also encourage anyone in 6th grade and older to volunteer with VBS. We will have a team training day after the 10:30 service on June 9th.

Registration begins Sunday, March 31, 2024 and ends Sunday, June 2, 2024. See online signup form below for children aged 4, as of September 1, 2023, through 5th grade.

Registration paper forms will be found outside the Church Office when registration opens.

We can't wait to dive in and make a splash that will have an eternal impact on your children.

The entity “St. James” in this agreement refers to: St. James Episcopal Church, Marietta, including but not limited to Vacation Bible School – and all staff, teachers, directors, administrators, employees or agents including volunteers of St. James Episcopal Church. In consideration of my child’s being accepted by St. James VBS, neither I, my spouse, nor my child will hold St. James liable for any accidents, loss, or injury to my child occurring while attending St. James - on the playground of the Church, or in any fashion connected with activities of St. James, unless such accident, loss or injury is caused by the negligence of St. James in which case I shall limit any claim I have or file to no more than the liability insurance coverage of St. James. In the event of an emergency requiring immediate medical attention, the staff members of St. James are authorized to consent to such medical treatment for my child as is deemed immediately necessary. I further understand that I or the persons whose emergency telephone numbers appear on the registration form will be notified as quickly as possible. Furthermore, I understand that health insurance of my child is not the responsibility of St. James. I hereby consent to allow St. James to use my child’s likeness, photograph, words, voice, drawings or other presentations of my child’s thinking for any publications, communications with parents, website or marketing materials. Your child’s full name will not be disclosed. I hereby hold harmless and waive all claims against St. James with respect to any liability arising from the use thereof. I certify my child’s immunizations (or exemption) are up to date. I have read and understand the above agreement and will abide by the policies herein.
