2026-2027 Seminarian

Foster Peterson, now in his third year (of four) at Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP), lives in Marietta, GA, with his wife, Bliss, and their youngest son, Henry. He is a postulant for Holy Orders in the Diocese of Atlanta and after his time (since 2010) as a member and seminarian at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation is excited to be at St. James for field placement/contextual ed!

Foster is both a mechanical and locomotive engineer and is a graduate of Georgia Tech. His current vocation is in the railroad industry as the Director of Safety for a set of shortline railroads based in Chattanooga, TN, and as a consultant to the rail industry as a whole where he investigates railroad accidents and derailments. His favorite achievements, however, are his 4 sons: Carter, Hunter, Jack, and Henry.
