Stewardship 2027

Every Gift Matters

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.”

                               1 Peter 4:10

God gives each of us gifts and talents to share. Our calling is to use those gifts as servants of Christ’s reconciling love. Through our prayers, presence, acts of service, and financial resources, we help build the Body of Christ and strengthen the ministries of St. James.

As you consider your commitment to St. James, we invite you to prayerfully explore the gifts God has given you—and the ways you might share them.

What gifts will you share?

Whether you offer your time, share a talent, welcome someone, serve in a ministry, offer a prayer, or make a financial pledge—

Every person has something to offer.

Every act of service makes a difference.

Every gift matters.

What is Stewardship
Stewardship is a grateful response to God's abundant gifts. It is the recognition that everything we have and everything we are, our time, talents, and treasure, are gifts from God.  God reveals His perfect and infinite love for us most visibly in His Son, Jesus Christ. As stewards, we are called to reflect Christ's love through our actions and generosity, making God's love visible in the world.

Why It Matters

Stewardship is more than financial giving. It encompasses our prayers, our presence, our service, and our resources. Whether through volunteering, sharing our skills, offering our prayers, or making a financial pledge, every act of stewardship is an expression of gratitude.

Why Make a Pledge?

Your financial pledge helps the Vestry plan responsibly for the year ahead. It allows us to support the ministries we cherish, support new opportunities, and continue serving our community with love and purpose.
