Welcome to Saint James' Music Program!
At Saint James', our Music Program offers many opportunites for ministry and service through music, for people of all ages and all levels of experience. Singers and instrumentalists enjoy fellowship, experience musical growth, and participate in Christian formation through regular rehearsals and participation in worship. In addition to the members of our various choirs and instrumental ensembles, parishioners and guest musicians regularly provide instrumental voluntaries during worship. A wide range of instruments appear, including piano, harpsichord, strings, flute, brass, bagpipes, guitar, and percussion.

It's been said that "One who sings, prays twice".
Just think about the opportunities for prayer you'd have as a member of one of our choirs! Saint James' Choirs are wonderful opportunities to participate more fully in the worship life of the Parish, to learn about music and our worship, and to enjoy fellowship opportunities with your fellow Saint James' parishioners. And Saint James' has just the right choir for each and every one of you, whatever your abilities and experience. Please scroll down and visit our Choirs page to learn more. You'll find that a warm welcome awaits you in any of Saint James' Choirs!
The Friends of Music at Saint James' is a group of dedicated parishioners who assist the Music Program in various, valuable ways, including arranging for and serving at receptions following musical events. New members of the Friends of Music are always welcome. For more information, please contact Jane Stoddard, 770-424-0310, Sally Karkula, 770-424-0002, or Mary Jane Lovvorn, 770-439-5657.
